The IVAX Clearinghouse will seek CFTC approval as a Derivatives Clearing Organization. It is not a membership organization.
The Clearinghouse will offer safe, secure custody of all customer assets. Clearance and settlement of all Exchange trades will be completed by the next day. As with equities, options, and futures markets—and unlike many unregulated digital assets exchanges—Account owners will have the ability to immediately enter orders to liquidate unsettled positions.
All Exchange orders are fully collateralized by assets held by the Clearinghouse so there’s no risk of any party failing to meet its delivery obligations resulting from an IVAX trade.
